(OTC: HQGE) and its subsidiary Big M Entertainment Pictures have released the names of the first three industry veterans who along with CEO Marvin Williams comprise the initial nucleus of Big M Entertainment’s leadership team. Mr. Williams also announced that the company will be adding one or more additional members to the team within the next few days, at which time they will be publicly introduced as well.

Dominique Appleby, COO and President of Marketing, is a seasoned Hollywood veteran who began her career at Harmony Gold USA and quickly rose in the ranks to become Executive VP of Harmony Gold USA, Co-Founder/President of Harmony Gold Film Finance and President of Harmony Gold Capital. During her tenure, the company produced numerous A-Level features including “Around the World in 80 Days” starring Pierce Brosnan and “American Strays” starring Eric Roberts and Jennifer Tilly, and also co-produced the film “Heidi” along with Disney. Her team also provided development funds for numerous additional successful films including “The Scarlet Letter”, “Ghost” and “Forrest Gump”, and she teamed with Natixis Bank to provide seed financing for Radar Pictures, which brought us “Jumanji”.
Ms. Appleby has helped finance and served on the Board of Directors of several public and private companies, including Lynx Golf with Ernie Els and Freddie Couples, Allen Edwards International and Geovax Labs. She was also a Founder and Managing Partner for Milagros, LLC, where she was instrumental in funding RFS pharma for her partner Raymond F Schinazi, who went on to discover the cure for Hepatitis C. Ms. Appleby has an MBA from Pepperdine University with an emphasis on Finance and was one of the first to invest in Wall Street giant King Street Capital.
Angela Raglin, VP Production and Unit Production Manager, is an accomplished professional with a keen eye for cinematic storytelling and a deep appreciation for the cinematic arts. Prior to joining the Big M Entertainment team, Ms. Raglin’s previous work experience has all been within the areas of finance and operations, where she has polished her quantitative approach towards production. Ms. Raglin has been with Big M Entertainment since its inception and has worked in production planning on a wide range of projects ranging from the Dionne Warwick Documentary “Black Pearl” to TV productions including “Chef Max’s Kitchen”, Executive Produced by Celebrity Chef Maxcel Hardy and Amar’e Stoudemire (2003 NBA Rookie of the Year, New York Knicks) and “Queen Of Clubs”, which was co-produced by Steve Tisch’s Escape Artists.
David Atkins, VP Intellectual Property Distribution and Sales, is a former Operations Manager with more than 20 years of management experience with well-known national and multi-national corporations. Mr. Atkins began his management career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he spent 8 years before exiting as Corporate Regional Manager. During his tenure at Enterprise he personally managed several Los Angeles locations accounting for multi-millions of dollars in yearly revenues, mostly while dealing directly with Fortune 500 companies. After being recruited by California’s largest insurance company to recruit and consult with their agents, Mr. Atkins focused his talents on the insurance business, ultimately rising to District Manager of Farmers Insurance Group and managing 52 locations in Southern California. With knowledge of the capital markets, he then went on to become a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he built a sizeable portfolio of entertainment clients and focused on wealth management within various sectors. Mr. Atkins has known Big M Entertainment’s Marvin Williams for many years and has been assisting the company’s progress since inception. He will be working closely with COO and Marketing President Dominique Appleby and her global distribution / merchandise relationships to create a solid foundation for Big M Entertainment’s Intellectual Property to migrate from screen to consumer product shelf.
